\"The<\/a>Yeah I like\u00a0The Outfield.\u00a0I’m fairly certain that I originally bought this Compact Disc so I could put Your Love<\/em> on a Party Mix Tape.\u00a0 “I just wanna use your love tonight” <\/em>was a line that\u00a0supported the theme. The Outfield <\/em> seemed to have a quick string of hits that came from this album.<\/p>\n

I think musically, they reminded me of Big Country<\/em> only without the bagpipes.\u00a0 They were mostly upbeat and the girls liked them so it was a good investment. It wasn’t one of those albums that I played over and over but\u00a0several tracks made\u00a0it to various mix tapes over the following years.<\/p>\n

The song \u00a0Every Time You Cry<\/em> appealed to me for some reason. I can’t quite put my finger on it. It goes back to that discussion we had earlier about what makes us like certain things and dislike others. With food and tastes, it is typically a matter of chemistry.\u00a0 With music, it seems to be much more subjective.<\/p>\n

I’m listening to Every Time You Cry <\/em>right now. I’m searching, analyzing, trying to figure out just what it is about this song that makes me like it so much. Sure, I think it is a really good song but why? Is it linked to a dear yet long forgotten moment.\u00a0 I can see that happening.<\/p>\n

The Outfieldwas part of that next MTV batch of groups that came out of the oven that included groups like Tears For Fears. <\/em>Actually The Outfield <\/em>sounds similar to Tears For Fears <\/em> in many ways.<\/p>\n
