Steely Dan is\u00a0one of those where I liked the songs in 70&#8217;s but really liked the band in the 80&#8217;s and 90&#8217;s as I rediscovered them on this quest.<br \/>\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/_rV_g7U30b8\" frameborder=\"0\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Seales &amp; Crofts &#8211; <em>Summer Breeze <\/em>My favaorite S&amp;C song. It has that 70&#8217;s flavor and the hope of summer.<br \/>\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/MsW8rXPcnM0?rel=0\" frameborder=\"0\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Paul McCartney &#8211; <em>Silly Love Songs <\/em>I have recently acquired a large portion of the Beatles catalog but\u00a0I still think that I like their post Beatles stuff better. I&#8217;ve got John Lennon CD&#8217;s, Paul McCartney CD&#8217;s, George Harrison CD&#8217;s and Caveman on VHS. Sorry Ringo.<br \/>\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/b_kkp9S9a3w?rel=0\" frameborder=\"0\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>The Association &#8211; <em>Along Comes Mary<\/em> Time is such an odd thing. At this time, I was 11, in grade school not too much focus on the future. In just 10 short years Mary would come along and a couple years after that we&#8217;d be married. 10 years seems very short to a man approaching 50 but when I was 11, 10 years was literally a lifetime.<br \/>\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/sYJhhKSXOBo?rel=0\" frameborder=\"0\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Sugarloaf &#8211; <em>Green Eyed Lady <\/em>Is this another Mary forshadowing? My lovely bride is a Green Eyed Lady. Sugarloaf was also a Bubblegum in this era when it wasn&#8217;t marketing suicide to mention sugar. That stuff was gritty with the amount of sugar it contained but it was good.\u00a0 Don&#8217;t you miss those oldies like the original Bubble Yum and Bubbliscious?<br \/>\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/c_DydKnpDsk?rel=0\" frameborder=\"0\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>The Carpenters &#8211; <em>Superstar <\/em>I know you are tired of hearing about Karen Carpenter but\u00a0I think she is my faovorite femail vocalist or at least my most respected.<br \/>\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/F9Nm_0pC4FM?rel=0\" frameborder=\"0\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Queen &#8211; <em>Bohemian Rhapsody [Monstrosity] <\/em>Like Steely Dan, this was my first exposure to Queen and our paths would cross numerous times until I got the Greates Hits on cassette from Columbia House. More on that later. Queen is one of those bands that I really feel that I missed out by not seeing them live when I could have.<br \/>\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/JszN7h84TXs?rel=0\" frameborder=\"0\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\"><\/iframe><br \/>\nDoesn&#8217;t this live performance give you the chills?
