\"Pat<\/a>A few posts back I told you about how my cousin Flavia would give me an album for Christmas every year.\u00a0 Pat Benatar’s Crimes Of Passion <\/em>was one of those albums. I feel like I had never heard of Pat Benatar prior to that Christmas. I suppose I could have gotten to Hit Me With Your Best Shot<\/em> and thought to myself “Oh, this is Pat Benatar.”<\/p>\n

Again, I played it relentlessly and grew to love all the tracks on it.\u00a0 Hell Is For Children<\/em> would have to be my least favorite with I’m Gonna Follow You\u00a0<\/em> and Wuthering Heights<\/em> on the other end of the spectrum.<\/p>\n

I likedCrimes Of Passionso much that I set out to acquire more Pat Benatar music. Like I did with KISS, I was on a mission to get all of the albums she had released.\u00a0 This behavior would repeat itself numerous times throughout My Musical Evolution<\/em> .It is basically the exact opposite of downloading a single song from iTunes. Not only do I want all of the songs on an album, if I really like the artist, I want all of the albums.<\/p>\n

Fortunately for my wallet, there was only one other at that point In The Heat Of The Night.<\/em> I picked that one up but we’ll talk about it later.<\/p>\n
